“Best meal
on Koh Chang”
We ate in 6 or 8 different places on Koh Chang
and this was the best. The design is authentic and it has a lovely calming
ambience in the evening. The staff were unlike people we encountered in other
places – they smiled, spoke good English, were sincere, and were more willing
to make conversation. Food and drinks were all tasty – would recommend
watermelon shake, coconut shake, prawn salad, chicken satay, fried fish. The
steak was a bit tough but I assume it’s local. Prices were reasonable too. A++

“Pure joy
to eat here, delicious! ”
Tonsai restaurant was the best surprise in Koh
Chang for us, it offers Thai food when it is as best! The restaurant itself is
very simple, open and accessible. The staff is very service minded, knows their
menu and speak English. We had a super starter chicken & sweet corn,
excellent! We had 2 salads, "pomelo..." and "my mom's
salad" super fresh, super tasty and both highly recommended! Mains,
noodles with chicken and black soya, paneng curry chicken, broccoli/mushroom
shrimp, fried rice with pineapple and a chicken lemongrass/chili. All of the
dishes are delicious, made to order and fresh. We finished with a traditional
mango sticky rice which was good. Total with drinks (2 beers and water) 1360
thb for 4 people! Extremely worth the money! I need to say, 5 days in Koh Chang
and this is by far the best place to eat!Contact
